Di, the practice manager for One Advisory, kindly spent some time recently answering all of our questions about the move to SuiteFiles, here’s what she said.
It saved us time when we were in office, but the time savings in easily transitioning to work from home were significant also.
Moving to Suite
We started the transition to SuiteFiles early in 2020, just before cloud-based technology became even more valuable. We had moved from CCH to Xero and XPM earlier, and needed a document management feature that better integrated into Xero for our firm, and we wanted to be able to access our documents in the cloud, instead of maintaining our own server. We worked with the SuiteFiles implementation team, who migrated all of our data and took the team through training, and we were up and running quickly from that point.

Shortly after, Covid-19 hit, and it became essential for us to work from home, which thankfully we could transition to easily. It saved us time when we were in office, but the time savings in easily transitioning to work from home were significant also.
