Now in it’s eighth year, the New Zealand Microsoft Partner Awards recognise excellence in New Zealand’s IT sector by integrating Microsoft solutions. 2015 not only marks the third year that The Full Suite has entered the awards, but also the third time we have been finalists in a category (we won in the cloud category in 2012). Just last month we were pleased to announce that two of our entries made it through as finalists in the Cloud SMB category. These entries outlined two products that have undergone significant change and development in the last year – SuiteMoves and SuiteFiles Web/Outlook.
And so it was that the Suite team ventured to Auckland to attend the black tie awards dinner, along with over 300 other Microsoft partners and category finalists. Brent Kendrick, Microsoft New Zealand’s SMB and Partner Director, commented that ‘the quality of entries this year has been truly outstanding.’ The Cloud SMB category was up first and with bated breath… we saw Atmospheric take home the prize. While Suite sadly couldn’t bring back the granite slab, our friends at Provoke won two awards – one for Presales Technical Specialist, which went to Alan Marshall at Provoke, and another for the new Marketing category.
While we didn’t get the prize we hoped for, we’re proud of the two entries we submitted and the recognition that being a finalist at the Microsoft Partner Awards brings. SuiteMoves and SuiteFiles are two products that have seen improvement, and we’re committed to making them even better in 2015. We look forward to throwing our hat into the ring again next year.
