Introducing the latest addition to the SuiteFiles family – the SuiteFiles Android app.
This light-weight app is designed to give you quick access to your files from any Android device. Whether you’re in a client meeting or on the bus home, you can easily bring up your recently accessed and favourite files.
Here are some of the Android app’s core features.
Quickly access files
Swipe between your Recents and Favourite files.
The files that are the most important to you are right at your fingertips. Easily access your recently viewed or favourite files with a simple swipe. Open any file, including emails, to quickly preview the content.
Basic tasks like renaming a file or favouriting/un-favouriting a file are also available through the Android app.
If you have the Microsoft Office apps installed on your device, you can preview and edit Office files from SuiteFiles. There is no direct integration between the SuiteFiles Android app and the Office apps for Android, so changes made to the file will not automatically update in SuiteFiles. You will have to manually ‘Save As’ the file from the Office app back into SuiteFiles/SharePoint Online in order to update the file.
Search + filter files
Search for any file & filter results by client folder or file type.
If you want to view a file that doesn’t come up under your recent or favourite files, head over to search. You can search for any file in your SuiteFiles system before drilling down further by filtering the search results by client folder and/or file type.
Snap + upload photos
Upload a new or existing photo straight into SuiteFiles.
Whatever you need to take a photo of – a productive whiteboarding session or a profile pic for a new staff member – you can snap a photo or upload an existing one straight into SuiteFiles from the Android app. Photos are stored in the main ‘home’ folder in SuiteFiles and can be moved easily once you jump back into SuiteFiles Web.
We’re pleased to release this long awaited Android app and to offer another access point to your files in SuiteFiles.
